Mysuru: Rajeswari Aiyappan, a 6th std. student of Amrita Vidyalayam, representing Karnataka, won second place at the National School Chess U-11 Girls Tournament held at Guwahati, Assam, recently. She scored 7 Points out of 9 Rounds in the tournament.
Rajeswari Aiyappan will be taking part in Asian Schools and World Schools Chess Championship later this year.
She had also won Karnataka State Championship in the U-9 Girls category during 2024.
