BAI Mysore Centre to conduct Chamundi Challenge Cyclothon on June 2

Mysore/Mysuru: Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, as part of World Environment Month celebrations, has organised ‘Chamundi Challenge Cyclothon-2024’ on June 2 (Sunday) at 6 am.

Dr. Usha Hegde, an adventure sports enthusiast, who rose to fame after summiting the Mount Everest recently, will flag-off the cyclothon from the entrance arch of Chamundi Hill.

Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mithra Managing Editor Vikram Muthanna will distribute prizes to winners at Devikere, atop Chamundi Hill at 8 am.

The cyclothon, which covers a distance of 6.5 kms, has been organised in various categories including  U-12 years boys and girls (parental supervision mandatory); U-18 years boys and girls; amateur men, elite men, women (girls U-18 may opt for women category), master men and women (between 38 and 50 years), Grand Masters men and women (above 50 years).  For details and registration, visit https://in.explara.com/e/bai–cyclothon-2024.

Apart from cyclothon, BAI Mysore Centre has also organised various programmes based on this year’s World Environment  Day theme  ‘Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience’ in the month of June.

A day with icon will be held on June 5; Tree Plantation on June 8, June 22 and June 28; A day with home-maker on June 13; Drawing competition on June 16; Street Plays on June 14 and June 19; Yoga Day on June 21; Treasure Hunt on June 23; Valedictory on June 29 and My Green Exhibition on June 30, according to a press release.
