BAI Mysore Chapter hosts Green Treasure Hunt

Mysore/Mysuru: Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysore Chapter, had organised a Green Treasurer Hunt on Aug. 1.

The purpose was to take the participants into lush green unexplored route with some brainstorming clues they have to solve en route in order to reach their next destination. 

Total distance the participants had to travel was around 150 kms. Some fascinating destinations the participants had to visit were Hatwal Katte, Mahadeva Thatharavara Gaddige, Sharadamrutha Ashram, Chikkadevammana Betta and Vishnuvardhan Memorial construction site.

The event was flagged off by eminent rallyists Feroz Azgar Ali and Shivaram at Nirvana in Hadjana. BAI Mysore Chairman Ajit Narayana, Hon. Secretary Yoganarasimha, World Environment Month Celebration Committee Chairman R. Raghunath, Secretary V. Gurudatt, Past BAI National Vice-President K. Sriram were present. 

The Marshals were A Dinesh, K.U. Ganapathi, K. Sriram, M.S. Ramaprasad and Latha Ramprasad. The Green Treasurer Hunt route culminated at Caris Brook in Koodanahalli. The Green Routing and Coordination was done by Past BAI Mysore Chairman N. Subramanya and Vani Subramanya.

Prize winners

The following contestants won the prizes: S. Prakash and Usha won the 1st prize. V. Srinath and Niharika won the 2nd prize. Mohan Kumar and Lalitha won the 3rd prize. Shivaswaroop Urs & Tilak Tholasi won the 1st prize in Young Indian category. Gagan and Ankita won 2nd Prize in YI Category. The Early Bird prize was won by Ali Vagh and Masuma. The youngest participants prize went to Sharanya and Mohith. The senior most participant prize went to B.R. Badarinath and Prema. The prize for the best photography en route went to Geethashree and K. Subramanya Rao. The best singing prize during treasure hunt went to Soumya and Nikhil.
