Mysore/Mysuru: The Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, hosted its Annual Builder’s Day celebration on Nov. 7 at the MBCT Auditorium in Vishweshwaranagar here.
The event focused on the theme ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ under the impactful tagline, “Construction and Infrastructure Industries: Moment to Shine.”
On the occasion, ‘Builder Par Excellence’ Award was conferred on Er. Nagaraj V. Bairy and ‘Member Extraordinaire’ Award on B.S. Dinesh.
Architect and Globetrotter, Ravindra Kumar, who was the chief guest, gave a presentation on global green structures and sustainable construction practices worldwide.
BAI National Vice-President D.V.N. Reddy and State Chairman N. Subramanya, who were the guests of honour, shared their insights on the role of the construction industry in achieving the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
Suraj Kumar, Deputy DGM (Technical) from Ramco Cements, highlighted his company’s initiative to produce curing-less plastering cement, aimed at significant water conservation.
BAI Mysore Centre Chairman V. Srinath welcomed and presided. BAI Mysore Centre Hon. Secretary C.D. Krishna proposed the vote of thanks. Spoorthi President Kavitha Gururaj was present.
