Mysuru: The Physical Education and Sports Department of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, is hosting Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) State-level Ball Badminton and VTU Mysuru Division Volleyball Championship (2024-2025), on Oct. 4 and Oct. 5.
The Championship will be inaugurated on Oct. 4 at 9.30 am at M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
M.P. Nabhiraj, Expert Coach at University of Mysore and Selection Committee Member, Karnataka Swimming Association, will be the chief guest. Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, Mysuru, will preside. R.K. Bharath, Board Member and CEO, GSSS, Mysuru, Anupama B. Pandit, Board Member and Administrative Officer, GSSS, Mysuru, Management Committee Members of GSSS, Mysuru, Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, Dr. M.P. Muralidhar, VTU Regional Director, Mysuru, Physical Education & Sports Department Officials of VTU, Belagavi and B.N. Harish Gowda, Physical Education Director, Department of Physical Education and Sports, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, will be present.
In all, 12 teams from various VTU-affiliated Engineering Colleges of Karnataka will take part in the State-level Ball Badminton and 10 teams from various VTU-affiliated Engineering Colleges of Mysuru region will participate in the Divisional-level Volleyball Championship.
