Ban orders around exam centres

With the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) scheduled to conduct the Gazetted Probationers exam (KAS exam) on Aug. 27, the City Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mtrs. radius around all the 11 centres in the city on that day.  The prohibitory orders will be in effect from 6 am to 6 pm and accordingly, all photocopy shops and browsing centres have been asked to shut down for the day. Also, barring the examinees and the exam officials, no other unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the exam centre, according to a press release issued by the Office of the City Police Commissioner.
