I had written in this column about Ring Road accidents and the need for reinstalling the barricades at certain vantage and crucial points on Outer Ring Road in January 2022.
Now the authorities concerned have responded quickly and have erected barricades (see picture) indicating it as ‘zero tolerance zone’ stop and proceed, from the GRS junction till Belavatha junction, which is a good move. I would like to thank SOM for publishing the letter and also the authorities for their swift action.
