The Association has also held talks with various labour organisations including CITU and AITUC, pro-Kannada organisations and farmer Associations seeking their support for the bandh (hartal) called on May 30. We have also met leaders of various political parties with a request to extend their support as well, he added.
BEML employees have decided to boycott their work on May 30 in protest. They will also organise a bike rally on May 27 to create awareness on the Hartal Divas.
