Mysuru: Lauding the efforts of the doctors for their first-of-its-kind initiative in the State, by participating in “Vaidyarinda Kavya Bhavayana,” a musical tribute to the poets, industrialist Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy said that such efforts must be encouraged.
He was speaking after inaugurating the programme at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road organised by Sugama Sangeetha Academy Trust, here on Saturday and said, “In the last couple of years the doctors in Mysuru have been organising music programmes involving film songs sung by the doctors themselves. However, this is the first time probably that a group of doctors have come together to sing songs penned by great Kannada poets.”
