They investigate the death of an NRI in Punjab. If you’re a fan of Lagaan, then this show will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Another thriller would be Scared Games. This is based on the novel by Vikram Chandra. It’s a puzzle created by a notorious crime boss, with a troubled police officer desperately trying to get to the root of the issue to save Mumbai from impending doom. The second series of the show, unfortunately, got canceled, leaving it on a huge cliffhanger. With that being said, it’s still worth the watch.

On Amazon, you also have a range of exciting Indian originals, which are available to worldwide users. Made in Heaven has a rating of 8.3 on IMDB with an 89%  Rotten Tomatoes score. The runtime is 50 minutes per episode, and it’s brought to you by Reema Kagti. It’s a fictional series that showcases weddings in India and the work that people go through to put on these kinds of events. Following Karan and Tara, two wedding planners who have to score major accounts for their wedding agency, this helps to capture the relationships that people form with Delhi families.

You also have Breathe, which is a story about both desperation and love. It follows a father who will go to any lengths to ensure that his son is safe. The protagonist in the show, R Madhavan, finds out his son needs a transplant. He then uses unconventional methods to ensure that his son moves to the top of the list, but things heat up when he finds himself in the middle of a police investigation.

With so much content available, people across the world can now enjoy more Indian originals than ever, which is helping to cement the genre in the streaming world.
