Mysore/Mysuru: Sadiq Sait, Proprietor, Ismail Optical Co., Mysuru, was awarded ‘Best Optician – Mysuru’ at the Karnataka Business Samrat Awards Ceremony held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Bengaluru on July 12.
The Awards Ceremony was organised by Anyelp Groups and Zee Kannada News.
Ismail Optical on Sayyaji Rao Road, founded by Abubakar Ismail Sait (grandfather of Sadiq Sait) and registered as A. Ismail & Bros on Feb. 16, 1932, was the first store selling optical devices, particularly spectacles with corrective lenses in city.
