Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress forms Committees

Mysore/Mysuru: In order to ensure the success of top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ which was launched from Tamil Nadu earlier this month, KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar has formed Lok Sabha Constituency-wise Committees that would be in-charge of the rally, when it arrives in the State at the end of this month.

MLA Dinesh Gundurao heads the Accommodation Committee, which also consists MLA Manjunath, former MLA Vasu and MLC Dinesh Gooligowda as members.

The members of other Committees are as follows:

Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency:  Former Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, MLAs Tanveer Sait and H.P. Manjunath, former Minister Jeevijaya, former MLAs K. Venkatesh, M.K. Somashekar and Krishnappa, MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah, Mysuru  District Congress President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar, former MLCs Veena Achaiah and R. Dharmasena, leaders A.S. Ponnanna, Dr. Manthar Gowda, Chandramouli and H.A. Venkatesh.

Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha Constituency: KPCC Working President R. Dhruvanarayan, MLAs C. Puttarangashetty, Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah and Anil Chikkamadu, Chamarajanagar District Congress President P. Mariswamy, former MLAs S.Jayanna, S. Balaraju, Kalale Keshavamurthy and Vasu, leaders Ganesh Mahadevaprasad, Siddaraju, Kagalawadi Shivanna, Ravishankar and S. Nanjappa.

Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency: Former Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy, RS MP G.C. Chandrashekar, MLCs Madhu Madegowda and Dinesh Gooligowda, former Ministers P.M. Narendraswamy and M.S. Atmananda, former MLAs Rameshbabu Bandisiddegowda, K.B. Chandrashekar and Ramesh, leaders Mallajamma, Ramakrishna, Vishnumurthy, Dr. Ravindra, Amaravathi Chandrashekar, Dr. Krishna, Gurucharan, Thyagaraj, Ravikumar Gowda, Manju, Suresh, Pallavi, L.D. Ravi, Bhojegowda, Kadalur Ramakrishna, Siddaramegowda, Munawar Khan, Puttegowda, Dinesh, Palaksha Chandrashekar, Cheluvaraju, Satish Siddaroodha, Vijaykumar, Shubha Rajini and Jayalakshmi Malavalli. This apart, several other Committees have been formed that are headed by top Congress leaders from the State.
