Mysore/Mysuru: Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of B.M. Yashaswini, a disciple of Vidu. Mithra Naveen at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar here tomorrow (Feb. 26) at 5.30 pm.
Noopura Kalavidaru Trust, Mysuru, Artistic Director Natyacharya Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru, Principal Dr. G. Ravindranath and Corporator M.C. Ramesh will be the guests of honour.
Programme direction, choreography and Natuvanga will be by Vidu. Mithra Naveen accompanied by Vid. Naveen M.S. Andagar on vocal, Vid. Vivek Krishna on flute and Vid. G.S. Nagaraj on mridanga.
B.M. Yashaswini, daughter of B.C. Manjunatha and Bhavani couple, is a dedicated and a passionate dancer. Disciple of Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen of Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance from past 15 years, she is a pursuing her 2nd year B.Com in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru. Yashaswini is also trained herself in various artistic drawings, paintings, sketching and creative artworks. Artistically she has completed her pre-Vidwat and pursuing her post-Vidwat conducted by KSEEB and has given numerous programmes in and around Mysuru including at Chamundi Hill during Navarathri, at CFTRI, Mysuru Ganesha Utsav-2022 etc.
