Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Arpitha Nayak on Feb. 17

Mysore/Mysuru: Nadavidyalaya  Academy of Music and Dance, Hebbal, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Arpitha Uday Nayak, disciple of Vidu. Mithra Naveen on Feb. 17 at 5 pm at Jaganmohan Palace in city.

MLA T.S. Srivatsa, Joint Director of Kannada and Culture Department V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy and Vidu.  Roopashree Madhusudan, Director, Nrityaganga Prada-rshaka Kala Kendra, Bengaluru, will be the guests of honour. Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen will be felicitated in Guru Vandanam.

Programme Direction, Choreography and Nattuvanga will be by Vidu. Mithra Naveen accompanied by Vid. Naveen M. S. Andagar on vocal, Vid. Vivek Krishna of Bengaluru on flute, Vid. G.S. Nagraj of Bengaluru on mridanga. G.N. Manjunath of Akashvani Mysuru will compere.

Profile:  Arpitha Nayak is the daughter of Uday Nayak and Suvarna Nayak of Gokarna. She is a dedicated and passionate dancer disciple of Guru Vidushi Mithra Naveen for 15 years in Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance, Mysuru. She completed her Engineering in Biotechnology from SJCE. 

Arpitha, who is presently pursuing her final Vidwat, has given numerous programmes showcasing her highly  enthusiastic and captivating performance at Hampi Utsav, Mysuru Dasara, South Central Zone Cultural Centre-Nagpur and other prestigious platforms.
