Mysore/Mysuru: Nruthya Vidya Peeta, Mysuru, an Academy of Classical Dance and Indian Arts, has organised Nrutyaamrutha — Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Vidu. M.S. Amrutha, disciple of Guru C.N. Anitha tomorrow (Jan. 28) from 5.30 pm onwards at Kirurangamandira in Kalamandira premises.
Sri Nataraja Puja, Kinkini Puja and Veda Ghosha will be held by Aniruddh M. Jois at 5.30 pm. Nruthyaamrutha-Guruvandana will be held at 7 pm.
V.N. Mallikarjuna Swamy, Joint Director of Kannada and Culture Department; Maddikere Gopal, President of Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Jamunarani Mirle of Mysore Art Gallery will be the special invitees.
Rangapravesha will be at 7.45 pm followed by Guruvandana to Guru Vidu. C. N. Anitha and Guru Vidu Anusha Nirmala.
Choreography and Nattuvangam will be by Guru Vidu. C.N. Anitha; Rakesh Sudheer on vocal; Vid. Kalamandalam S. Haridev on mridanga and Ankush S. Kadaba on flute.
Profile: Amrutha, daughter of M.B. Suresh and N. Gowramma, is a dedicated and passionate dancer whose journey is an expression of her deep love for Bharatanatyam. She currently teaches a few enthusiastic students in her own dancing class about intricate traditions of Bharatanatyam.
