Bharatanatyam recitals at Ganabharathi

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised two Bharatanatyam performances at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, on May 19.

The first programme will be between 6 pm and 7 pm by Vid. Dr. T.S. Sagar and the second programme will be from 7 pm onwards by Vid. Kannan and students of Nandini Nrityalaya, according to a press release from C.G. Ravishankar, EC Member, Ganabharathi [Mob: 94483 23234].

Vid. Dr. Sagar: Vid. Dr.  T.S. Sagar is a multi-talented artiste who is an excellent writer and a sculptor. He started his dance practice at the age of 6 with Guru Vid. K.M. Raman. Currently he is practicing dance under Vid. KPK Chandrashekaran. He has given more than 500 Bharatanatyam performances all over the country.

Vid. Kannan: Vid. Kannan had been guiding students in Bharatanatyam for the past three decades.

He has been giving special dance training to kids from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH). He has been awarded from many prestigious institutions recognising his talent and social obligation.
