Mysore/Mysuru: Naatya Sabha, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam recitals at Ganabharathi auditorium in Kuvempunagar on Sept. 13.
The programme will commence at 5.30 pm with the solo performance by R. Pavan Kumar, followed by a dance-drama presentation by Guru Dr. Kripa Phadke and her disciples.
Under the title ‘Madhava – The Rhythm of Divine Love,’ Pavan Kumar presents a soulful dance that celebrates the eternal essence of love and devotion.
All the dances have been choreographed by Pavan Kumar, who will be accompanied by Vineeth Purvankara (vocal), Apoorva G. Murthy (Nattuvanga), Y.P. Vikram Bhardwaj (mridanga) and S. Samrudh (flute).
Dance-drama, ‘Gitamṛuta-dhuhe Namah’ written by Divakara Hegde and based on Bhagavad Gita, weaves together the essence of Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga and Jnana Yoga. Directed and enacted by Dr. Kripa Phadke in lead role, the production will be presented by Nrityagiri ensemble.
