Mysuru: The Mysuru District wing of Yuva Parishad, Karnataka, of All India Bhavsar Kshatriya Mahasabha (AIBKM), had organised a function at Sri Panduranga Swamy Temple on Kabir Road here on Sunday to felicitate five teachers of the community for their distinguished service.
As part of the ‘Guruvandana’ programme, a free health check-up camp was also organised.
The new office-bearers of the Karnataka Yuva Parishad were also inducted on the occasion.
Inaugurating the programme, AIBKM National President Mahadeva Pathange expressed happiness that the people of the community were showing more interest in education. He announced that a free coaching camp for IAS and IPS aspirants has been arranged in Hyderabad and asked the youth to show more interest in Civil Services.
Teachers Vittal Rao Pathange, Shoba Nayak, Veda Rampure, Radha Sulake and M.K. Subramani were felicitated on the occasion.
N. Ganesh Lalige was inducted as the new President, Yuva Parishad, Karnataka.
Bhavsar Kshatriya Mandali, Mysuru President Jayaram Rao Lalige presided. Yuva Parishad National President Dr. Yogendra Varni, MLA L. Nagendra, office-bearers of Yuva Parishad and others were present.
