Mysuru: Marking World Sparrow Day, a bicycle rally to create awareness on conservation of birds and animals during summer has been organised by KMPK Charitable Trust tomorrow at 7 am.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Congress leader and former Wildlife Warden N.M. Naveen Kumar said that the cycle rally would be flagged off from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, near the North Gate of Mysore Palace at 7 am and the rallyists will pass through Hardinge Circle, Doddakere Maidan Road, Gun House Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, Ramaswamy Circle, Maharaja College Grounds, Kautilya Circle and culminate at Kukkarahalli Lake.
A programme will be followed after the rally in which DCP Dr. A.N. Prakash Gowda, ZAK Chairman L.R. Mahadevaswamy, theatre artiste Mandya Ramesh, Dr. S.P. Yoganna of Suyog Hospital and Dr. Santhrupth of Gopala Gowda Hospital will participate, he said.
S.E. Girish of Jeevadhara Blood Bank, KMPK Charitable Trust President Vikram Iyengar, Secretary Ajay Shastry, Pasisara Snehi Team President Lohith were present at the press meet.
