Mysore/Mysuru: Even as the intensity of the battle for change of leadership in the State Congress Government is hotting up by the day, the Vokkaliga community has decided to take out a bike rally in city on Nov. 29, urging to make Dy.CM D.K. Shivakumar (DKS), a Vokkaliga, as Chief Minister for the remaining tenure of the State Assembly.
Several Vokkaliga community leaders from different parties who held a meeting under the leadership of Mysuru Vokkaliga Sangha President C. Mariswamy at a hotel in Gokulam on Thursday unanimously resolved to take out a bike rally.
The rally will commence from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at 9 am and will pass through the main thoroughfares of the city.
