Bengaluru: Accusing total breakdown of Law and Order in the State capital, the BJP will undertake a ‘Save Bengaluru’ Padayatra from Mar.2 to 15. Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, MLA and former Dy.CM R. Ashok said that the Padayatra will cover all the 28 Assembly segments of the State capital, posing 10 questions to the Government on law and order front and various other issues.
The Padayatra will also highlight MLA Haris’ son Mohammad Nalapad assaulting a youth, rowdyism of Congress leader K. Narayanaswamy at a BBMP office and various other such highly condemnable acts of the Congress leaders, he said and added that Union Ministers H.N. Ananth Kumar, D.V. Sadananda Gowda and Prakash Javadekar, State BJP in-Charge Muralidhar Rao will take part in the two-week long Padayatra (Mar.2 to 15).
Accusing the BBMP of rampant corruption, Ashok alleged that officials were engaged in looting money in the name of white topping of roads.
Alleging that Chief Minister Siddharamaiah had turned a blind eye to rampant corruption and irregularities in BBMP and BDA, he said that the CM had no moral right to speak about BJP leaders.
