Mysuru: State BJP Vice-President V. Sreenivasa Prasad launched a padayatra in city yesterday under the party’s Raitha Morcha banner to publicise Central Government’s programme for farmers known as ‘Vision 2024.’ Today, the padayatra continued from Vajamangala in Varuna constituency with thousands of BJP activists taking part.
Tomorrow, Prasad will continue his padayatra visiting over eight villages and camping at T. Narasipur which is PWD and District in-Charge Minister and Chief Minister Siddharamaiah’s close confidant Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa’s constituency.
On Oct. 11, BJP will continue its march covering another nine villages and camp at Nagarle. On Oct. 12, Sreenivasa Prasad will leave Nagarle and cover all the villages of Nanjangud taluk including a visit to the famous Nanjangud Temple.
He will then enter Kadakola, Sindhuvalli and other 10 villages on Oct. 13, ending his padayatra on Oct. 14.
He will begin from Dhanagalli and visit all layouts in Mysuru City coming under Chamundeshwari and Varuna constituencies like Srirampura, BEML Layout, Kuvempunagar and Kukkarahalli.
