State BJP President B.S. Yeddyurappa has convened a meeting of the Party’s district-level office-bearers on Feb. 25 to sort out differences in the appointments.
With resentment growing in some party quarters, especially from senior leader K.S. Eshwarappa’s camp, Yeddyurappa is said to have convened the meeting to make certain changes in the list of office-bearers, in a bid to contain dissidence.
The meeting to take place at the State Party Headquarters in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, will be attended by District Presidents, Vice-Presidents, General Secretaries and other leaders.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that several district Presidents from among Ballari, Raichur, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Tumakuru, Davanagere, Bidar and Haveri are likely to be replaced.
