Ramanagar: Puttamadegowda (89), retired teacher and father of former Minister and current BJP MLC C.P. Yogeshwar, passed away yesterday.
Puttamadegowda, who took ill a few days ago, was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru, where he succumbed to illness yesterday.
He leaves behind two sons including Yogeshwar, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at his native place Chakkare village in Channapatna today, according to sources.
