BJP to hold interaction on Union Budget tomorrow

Mysuru: Even as the Congress is targeting the Union Government over little allocation of funds and projects  for Karnataka, the BJP has organised an interaction on the Union Budget at Green Heritage Hotel (beside Lokayukta Office) on Dewans Road in city at 4 pm tomorrow (Feb. 15).

Announcing this at a press meet at the BJP Office in Chamarajapuram here this morning, BJP Rural District Vice-President M. Dasaiah said that the interaction will discuss the salient features of the Union Budget.

Rubbishing the claims of Congress leaders that the Union Budget has little for Karnataka, he said that the grants and funds allotted to the State for every sector, projects, plans and programmes will be highlighted.

“The Congress allegations of unfair treatment to the State is utterly baseless. The Centre has given its due to the State. But the ruling Congress is spreading lies and this interaction aims to bust the myth of the Congress propaganda”, Dasaiah said. 

BJP spokesperson Ashok Gowda will moderate, he said adding that poverty in the country is on a steady decline, thanks to the policies and programmes of the BJP Government at the Centre. 

He also appealed hoteliers, businessmen, chartered accountants, industrialists, economic experts, advocates and professionals from other fields to take part in large numbers.

District BJP Office-bearers Helavarahundi Siddappa, Srinivas Reddy, Balakrishna, Dayanand Patil and others were present at the press meet.
