The Knight Riders Chess Club of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, will be conducting the 1st State-level Open Chess Tournament-2019 at the College premises in Gokulam 3rd Stage here on Mar.31.
Events will be conducted in Open Category, U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 (Boys & Girls). Entry fee in Open Category is Rs.500 per player with UKCA ID, Rs.550 for others; Rs.250 for VVCE students. In age category, entry fee is Rs.250 for players with UKCA ID and Rs.300 for others.
A total cash prize of Rs.40,000 is in the offing. Special cash prizes for Below-1600 and Below-1300 unrated players will also be given. The top 15 players in the Open Category will also be awarded cash prizes.
