Mysuru; Commemorating International Day of Persons with Disabilities and in memory of actor late Puneeth Rajkumar, Raktadhana Mahadhana Gobhakta Sanghatane Trust, in association with Jeevadhara Blood Bank, had organised a mega blood donation camp at Jeevadhara Blood Bank premises here recently.
Speaking after inaugurating the camp, District AIDS Control Officer Dr. Mohammed Shiraz Ahmed said that Jeevadhara Blood Bank had brought together blood donors during the time of COVID pandemic which had resulted in shortage of blood and had helped save many lives. Dr. Shiraz further said that the blood bank had also helped pregnant women, accident victims and others by supplying blood in the time of emergency.
Jeevadhara Blood Bank Director S.E. Girish and Raktadhana Mahadhana Gobhakta Sanghatane Trust President Devendra Parihariya also spoke. Muthanna, Dr. Radha, Anand Mandoth, Mahendar Choyal, Chiranjilal Kumavath, Suma, Bagadaram Kumavath, Kailash Rathor, Hemalatha, Prathap, Malini, Misba and others were present.
