V. Venkataswamy (61) of Boodabalu village in Kollegal taluk, passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru on Tuesday. He was a member of BJP National Council.
He had served as the Chairman of D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation and as BJP Hanur Mandal President. He leaves behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his native village Boodabalu on Wednesday.
