Mysore/Mysuru: Journalist K.K. Karthik’s short story collection ‘KaHaNi’ will be released at the Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) auditorium on JLB Road in city at 5 pm today (Sept. 28).
National Award-winning filmmaker Mansore will launch the English anthology, while senior journalist and MLC K. Shivakumar will be the chief guest.
Mysore Book Clubs Charitable Trust Founder and ChairpersonShubha Sanjay Urs will speak about the book.
The collection comprises 20 fictional short stories, drawing from the author’s experiences as a journalist. It gives voice to marginalised communities including pourakarmikas, farmers, sexual minorities, tribals and Dalits, narrating their struggles and unheard realities through fictional characters.
