Mysuru: Journalist Ravi Pandavapura’s book titled ‘Kathe Heluve Nanna… Kodagina Nonda Hrudayagalu… Midida Managalu’ on the devastation caused by floods and landslides in Kodagu recently, will be released in the city on Dec.14.
Announcing this at a press meet here on Tuesday, the book publisher Abhiruchi Ganesh said that Somaiah of Kodagu, who lost his daughter in the floods, will release the book at a programme to take place at Rani Bahadur auditorium on Hunsur Road, Manasagangothri, at 11.30 am tomorrow.
The book throws light on the tragedies caused by the devastation. Senior Journalist Ananth Chiniwar will speak about the book. Kodagu DC P. I. Sreevidya, SP Suman D. Pennekar, will be the chief guests. Kodagu Press Club President Ajjamada Ramesh Kuttappa will preside.
The book, containing 128 pages, is priced at Rs.125 and the amount collected by the sale of books on Dec.14, will be donated to Kodagu Disaster Relief Fund.
