Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS), University of Mysore (UoM), has organised a function at B.M. Sri Auditorium at its premises tomorrow (May 23) at 11 am for the release of books — ‘Vaidya Samputa’, ‘Chandrasagaravarniya Muru Kruthigalu’, ‘Ganitha Vilasam’ and ‘Virata Parva Samputa’. UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will release the books. Scholar Prof. T.V. Venkatachala Shastry will be the chief guest. KIKS Director Prof. M.G. Manjunath will deliver the keynote address. Prof. K.G. Narayana Prasad, Dr. Y.C. Banumathi, G.G. Manjunath and UoM Registrar R. Shivappa will be present.
