‘Mahabhikshuki’, a social novel written by writer and columnist Prasanna Hegde, will be released at a programme to take place at Maneyangala in Kalamandira at 4.30 pm today (Jan.30). The novel throws light on the life and plight of beggars and how the society views them. KSGH Music & Performing Arts University Registrar Dr. Niranjan Vanalli will release the book. Littérateur Dr. Malali Vasanthakumar will preside. The book release will be followed by a Kavigoshti (Poets Meet) and felicitation to social worker K. Raghuram.
