Books ‘Samajamukhi’ and ‘Makkalondige Naavu’ released

Writer Prof. Kalegowda Nagawara, who released the books ‘Samajamukhi’ and ‘Makkalondige Naavu,’ written by E. Dhananjaya Yeliyur, at Manasagangothri in city this morning, is seen with UoM Registrar Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, journalist Rashmi Koujalagi and others.

Mysuru: Baduku Trust and University of Mysore Yuva Pragathipara Chintakara Sangha together had organised a programme at Rani Bahadur auditorium in Manasagangothri here this morning for the release of two books — ‘Samajamukhi’ and ‘Makkalondige Naavu’ written by E. Dhananjaya Yeliyur.

Inaugurating the programme, UoM Registrar Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi opined that the two books throw light on contemporary problems in society. He observed that 40% children in the country remain malnourished indicating a negative trend of development which should be addressed on top priority. He opined that education should make children socially responsible.

Writer Prof. Kalegowda Nagawara released the book. Journalists Rashmi Koujalagi and B.R. Rangaswamy, Sangha President B. Shivashankar, Hon. President Dr. Chandragupta, Social activist P. Mallesh and others were present during the occasion.
