Boovadira M. Muddappa (93), ex-Havaldar at Indian Army and a resident of Ponnampet, passed away this morning.
He had served in the Indian Army during the 1961-62 China War.
He leaves behind three daughters, one daughter-in-law, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites will be held at Ponnampet tomorrow at 10 am, according to family sources.
