With a view to give the society a message on the importance of peaceful living, Brahma Kumaris, Mysuru, as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, has organised a ‘Run for Peace’ on Saturday (Feb.18) at 3.30 pm.
More than 600 youth will be participating in this run to spread the necessity of inculcation of peace in daily life. Chakravarthy Sulibele, a well-known orator and columnist, will be flagging off the run at 3.30 pm in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple.
Deepak, President of Mysuru District Journalists Association along with K.J. Lokesh Babu, Hon. Secretary, will be present.
The run will pass through Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – Hardinge Circle – Mirza Road – Nazarbad Police Station Circle – Chamundi Vihar Stadium Road – DPO Circle – Theobald Road – Mini Vidhana Soudha – Arch Gate – Irwin Road – Ayurveda Hospital Circle – Railway Station Circle – Left turn – JLB Road – Ramaswamy Circle – Right turn – Maharaja College Ground.
Later, Chakravarthy Sulibele will address the public from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm at Maharaja College Grounds where Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mysuru, is holding the ‘Gyan-Vigyan Divya Darshan Mela’ from Feb. 12 to 26 from 9 am to 9 pm.
