Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Brahmibhuta Sri Vasudeva Maharaj’s 83rd Jayanthi, achievers from various fields will be honoured with ‘Brahmibhuta Sri Vasudeva Maharaj Sadbhavana Prashasti’ at a programme to be held at Pathrakartara Bhavan on Tyagaraja Road in city on Mar. 26 at 11 am.
MLC C.N. Manjegowda will inaugurate the programme. Foundation President Dr. Gururaja Poshettihalli will deliver keynote address. District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal will preside. Nirvana Yogashale Founder Dr. T.N. Shashikumar will honour the achievers. Senior social worker Dr. K. Raghuram Vajpayee and Congress leader N.M. Naveen Kumar will be present.
Historians Sylvain Filliozat and Vasundhara Kavali will be conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award. Bengaluru’s M. Basavaraju (social work – organising), Dr. Leela Basavaraju (theatre), Dr. P.N. Ganesh Kumar (yoga) and K.P. Yogesh (politics – social work) will be conferred with ‘Brahmibhuta Sri Vasudeva Maharaj Sadbhavana Prashasti’, according to Foundation Founder-President M.V. Nagendra Babu and Convenor N. Anant.
