Mysuru: The Mysuru unit of Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a Government of India Enterprise, will migrate to Next Generation Network (NGN) using IP technology in all city area landlines. The new system will replace existing circuit switched network and the change enables all BSNL customers to use next generation telecom service.
The migration will happen from 5.30 pm today and during this period there may be some minimum service dislocations/ interruptions, says a release from BSNL. The telecom utility has, however, clarified that there will be no change in landline telephone numbers and there will be no interruptions for Broadband and FTTH connections during this migration period.
Customers will have to re-register their Dynamic Locking Facility (security code) as per the normal procedure which was done earlier, with regard to STD/ISD etc., after the connections start working post migration.
BSNL customers are requested to contact Ph: 0821-2410020 or 2411111 for any issues after migration relating to landlines and 0821-2412345 regarding ISDN PRI circuits, or in case of any clarifications or issues in this regard, on 26.8.2019 up to 10 pm. Customers can also tweet on @ngnmysuru.
