BSP leaders, members resign en masse

Mysuru:  The leaders and members of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have resigned en masse from the primary membership of the party.

Alleging that there is groupism and loyal party workers had been sidelined, they tendered their resignation at the Rotary Bhavan on JLB Road here yesterday.

The leaders, who resigned, included Mysuru Zone in-charge Sosale Siddaraju, Division in-charge Beemanahalli Suresh and Rahul, District President K.N. Prabhuswamy, District General Secretary Pratap, City President Basavaraju, Secretary Ananth, City in-charge Dinakar, besides all Taluk Committee members and Zonal Committee members.

They alleged that the newly- appointed State in-charge Ashok Siddartha and M.L. Tomar were playing politics and disbanded the Zonal Committees without even informing them. They charged that even BSP National President Mayawati was not aware of the happenings as she was kept in the dark. They said they would write to her in this regard.
