Mysuru: Aleena Azad, a 2nd standard student of Police Public School, Mysuru, has bagged bronze medal under South Zone Sub-Junior Division at the Khelo India Wushu Women’s League which was held at Kozhikode, Kerala, in November last year.
The budding WUSHU champ won the bronze medal defeating a 6th standard student from Tamil Nadu. She has also won silver medal at the 21st State Wushu Championship which was held at Shivamogga in August last year.
Daughter of Teacher Tabassum Khan and Auditor Azad Khan of Mysuru, Aleena is presently trained under M.K. Asif.
