Bengaluru: Buoyed by the BJP’s resounding victory in three assembly segments of Belagavi district for which by-polls were held recently, Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa is said to be in favour of holding the Budget Session at Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi.
In order to offset the cancellation of the winter session due to floods, Yediyurappa has shown interest in holding the Budget session at Belagavi.
Before batting for Belagavi, the CM is said to have sought the advice of senior party leaders who too favoured holding of the session at Belagavi, it is learnt.
