Mysuru: A two-day National Technical Seminar Build-Tech-2018, organised by Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre, will held at Senate Bhavan in Manasagangothri Campus on Nov. 23 and 24 from 10 am to 5 pm in city.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, Build-Tech Organising Committee Chairman V. Srinath said that experts in various subjects will throw light on recent advances and developments in the construction industry across the world and added that the seminar is organised on the theme ‘Smart Construction and Efficient Building Services.’
About 10 national and internationally acclaimed builders will give a talk on recent developments in the construction sector and share their experiences with the participants. Around 600 delegates from across the country involved in supplying building materials including bathroom fittings, kitchen cabinets, interiors, floor tiles, construction equipments, lights and lighting products, pre-engineered buildings, landscaping resources and rain water harvesting system experts will take part in the seminar. Experts will also deliberate on constructing affordable houses for the poor and the middle class.
District Minister G.T. Devegowda, University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, BAI State Chairman Prof. K.S. Someshwara Reddy will be the chief guests. MD of Starworth Infrastructure and Construction Ltd, Bengaluru, Raj Pillai will deliver keynote address.
