BVB wins RK Vidyashala GK competition

Mysore/Mysuru: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) School, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, has won the coveted 49th Srimat Swami Shambhavanandaji Memorial Inter-High School Competition in General Knowledge (GK) conducted by Sri Ramakrishna (RK) Vidyashala recently. In all, 690 students from 38 schools participated in the competition.

Fifteen students from 10th std. and 5 from 9th std. represented BVB School in the competition.

From Class 10, T. Tarun secured 3rd prize while M.R. Harshavardhan and C. Nayana got the 1st and 5th special prizes respectively.

From Class 9 division, S. Mohith secured the 1st prize while Y. Pradyumna Bhat won the special prize.

BVB School secured 616 aggregate marks and won the first Institution prize in the competition and also the coveted Rolling Shield.
