Bengaluru: Karnataka State BJP released the list of star campaigners who will be visiting all 15 constituencies for campaigning across the State ahead of by-polls to be held on Dec.5.
As many as 40 leaders, including all Cabinet Ministers and other leaders, have been roped in for the campaign.
Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, Union Ministers D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Pralhad Joshi and Suresh Angadi, BJP National General Secretary B.L. Santhosh, Karnataka In-charge P. Muralidhar Rao and cine actors Shruthi and Tara Anurdha are among the campaigners.
BJP has accommodated all disqualified MLAs, who have tendered their resignations to primary memberships of Congress and JD (S) respectively.
Sharath Bachegowda to be expelled: Meanwhile, CM Yediyurappa said that rebel candidate Sharath Bachegowda, who was contesting against BJP candidate MTB Nagaraj in Hosakote constituency, would be expelled from the party. “A disciplinary action will be taken against Sharath who has filed his nomination. He should also resign as the Chairman of Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) or else I will remove him,” he said.
