Madegowda (85), a resident of K. Badagalahundi in Jayapura Hobli of the taluk, passed away last night.
He leaves behind his wife Siddamma, eight sons, one daughter, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his native place this morning, according to family sources.
