Mysore/Mysuru: Titular head of erstwhile Mysore Royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has called upon the Urs community members to be organised and united for availing various Government benefits.
He was speaking at the valedictory of the centenary celebrations of Ursu Mandali Sangha at KSOU Convocation Hall in Mukthagangothri along Hunsur road here on Sunday.
Maintaining that the Government took over residential hostels and educational institutions established by the erstwhile Mysore rulers decades ago, Yaduveer said that now it has become difficult to come to the aid of community students. As such it is essential that the community stays united for availing Government benefits and facilities, he said and called upon the community students to work hard for excelling in their chosen careers.

Varun Lingaraje Urs, Tamil Nadu Dronakere Mutt Seer Subramanya Rajendra Swamiji, Dronagiri Mutt Seer Ashok Rajendra Swamiji, Ursu Mandali Sangha Centenary Celebration Committee’s M.A. Srikantaraje Urs, Sangha President H.M.T. Lingaraje Urs, K. Suma Urs, D. Jayadevaraje Urs (Prakash) and others were present at the valedictory.
