Calling artisans to avail benefits

Mysore/Mysuru: The Zilla Panchayat and Department of Industries & Commerce have invited applications from professional rural artisans (Khadi and Village Industries), engaged in cottage industry to avail subsidy and free vocational tools under various Government Schemes for the year 2022-23.

Under Machines and Equipment Distribution Scheme (Sudharita Salakarane Sarabaraju Yojane), professional artisans may get electric tailoring machine and wood cutting equipment. Eligible candidates must submit copies of caste certificate, Aadhaar card, tailoring course certificate and passport size photo. Candidates, who are engaged in wood works must get a confirmation letter from their respective Gram Panchayat Development Officer and copy of ID card given by the  Labour Department.

Under Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme (Bandavala Hudike Sahayadhana Yojane) SC, ST rural artisans may avail benefits by submitting copies of Aadhaar card, caste certificate, bank pass book, loan sanctioned papers by the bank, Udyog Aadhaar, licence certificate from regional organisation and passport size photo.

Under Interest Subsidy Scheme (Baddi Sahayadhana Yojane) artisans may avail benefits by submitting copies of above mentioned documents along with the letter of interest subsidy given by the bank and the loan details given by the bank.

Applications may be submitted by logging on to https://mysore.nic.in/ before Sept. 4. For details, contact Taluk Industrial Extension Officer at the Office of Deputy Director, Khadi and Village Industries Board  (KVIB) in city.
