The Department of Kannada and Culture has invited applications from music troupes interested to render classical vocal, light music, devotional songs, harikathe, folk songs at Raaga Ragini Mantapa atop Chamundi Hill during Ashada Fridays and Janmotsava celebrations. Teams willing to participate free of cost can apply within 5 pm on July 12 at the Office of the Assistant Director, Department of Kannada and Culture, Kalamandira premises, or contact Ph: 0821-2513225, according to a press release.
