Department of Kannada and Culture intends to identify artistes who have excelled in music, Sugama Sangeetha, dance, instrumental music, drama, Yakshagana and folk art and encourage them during 2017-18.
This registration process would encourage artistes to perform in the district.
The artistes intending to present a programme should apply with all details before Apr. 28 to Assistant Director, Department of Kannada and Culture, Kalamandira, Mysuru with photo proof of performance given earlier. For more details call 0821-2513225, according to a press release.
