The Department of Tourism, Mysuru district, has invited applications from eligible candidates under Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan (SCSP), Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) and Backward Classes and Minorities (BCM) Schemes for distribution of Tourist Taxis. A total of 56 taxis will be distributed among the beneficiaries out of which 10 taxis for SC Community, 7 taxis for ST Community with and 39 taxis for BCM Community will be distributed.
Candidates, aged between 20 to 45 years, having a pass in SSLC, should submit the application forms along with copies of SSLC marks card and Driving Licence (DL) attested with Tourist Taxi Badge. Last date to submit filled-in application forms is tomorrow (Feb. 7) at 4.30 pm.
Applications has to be submitted at the Office of Assistant Director, Tourism Department, Mayura Hoysala Complex, JLB Road. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2422096, according to a press release.
