Free vaccination for people aged between 18 and 44 years will be commencing from June 21. As there is a possibility of donated-blood shortage, all recognised Blood Banks can come together and form a Forum. They can organise ‘Blood Collection Centres’ close to each Vaccination Centre, of course, with the permission and cooperation of District Health authorities. Hope my suggestion will be considered in the interests of a large number of patients in need of the life-saving blood during emergency.
